Eco Council

Our Year 1 and Year 2 classes choose their own Eco Councillors to represent their class in school. The Eco Councillors help to think about ways in which we can make our school more environmentally friendly and share these with the other members of their class. Mr Owen, Swans Class Teacher, helps to run the Eco Council.

Our 2023/24 Eco Councillors have been chosen and we look forward to working with them! Look out for their green eco council badges which they will be wearing with pride.

The Queen's Green Canopy

Our school supported a mass tree planting weekend at the end of March 2022, giving our pupils the opportunity of being able to take part in the Queen's Green Canopy Initiative.  This is thanks to the Lions Club of Fleet who sourced the 1700 tree saplings which are now "taking root" in the local area. Each tree has a label recording who planted it; why not check how your young tree is doing?

We also have our very own Hawthorn tree growing at the front of the school building which was donated to us to be part of the Queen's Green Canopy. We look forward to watching it grow over the next few years.
