Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND)

Heatherside Infant School is an inclusive school and we work hard to ensure that we meet the needs of all our pupils, regardless of their specific needs, so that they make they are given the opportunity to meet their potential. 

In considering whether our school is the correct setting for your child, we would always advise that you come and look at our school and  talk to us about your child.  Below are links to two important documents - our SEND Policy and our SEN information Report which details provision.

Hampshire Local Offer for SEND

Information on services available in Hampshire for children and young people from birth to 25 who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). This includes information about education, health, social care, preparation for adulthood, leisure services and impartial information advice and support.

Hampshire’s Local Offer (co produced with parents, carers and young people) aims to help you find your way through the maze of information to reach the best solutions for you/your child. Further details for Heatherside Infant School are available on the Family and Services Hub (FISH).
