Promoting British Values

The Department of Education rightly requires the need “to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.”

At Heatherside we actively promote British Values with the ultimate aim that when our young people leave school they will be prepared for life in modern Britain.
